What to wear on July 4th

July 4th is a week away and we can already feel the patriotic vibes in the air. The excitement of freedom and love for our great nation makes us all want to dress red, blue and white, doesn’t it? But you may be just stuck in your head and not able to decide what to wear. If all the options seem alike and you are looking for some inspiration, let us help you out.

So whether your plans take you to the beach this year or to spend the day at a backyard barbeque with friends or even if you are headed to watch the splendid fireworks we got you covered. We have styles cut to fit your plans. Phew! Quite a lot of things you can do right.

But not everyone fancies being dressed up in the flag, a lot of us only want to give subtle hints of July 4th in our look. We get it… and we have put together looks with both emotions, of subtle and bold in mind.

But remember this July 4th, give yourself a patriotic manicure as well to match your outfit.

Celebrating July 4th at the Beach
The trick for ‘subtle-patriotic’ is to work with the colors and a few accessories with stripes or stars. We recommend a blue bikini with quirky accessories like a stripes beach bag, striped flip flops and geometric sunglasses.

To show off your bold patriotic streak, wear a flag bikini. Go easy on the accessories and may be a white beach tote, sunglasses and flip flops to finish the look.

Having fun at a Backyard barbeque
Obviously, you would love to stay comfortable for this now wont you… so you go on and have your share of fun girl.

For being subtle, wear your white dress with a star scarf around your neck. Comfortable sandals in your feet and statement sunglasses for your eyes, for the 4th July touch.

We talked about overalls being trendy again, a while ago on the blog. Let’s put that to use! Wear your flag print tank with a denim overall. Complete the look with flag printed converse.

Out on the town watching fireworks
When you are headed to watch the fireworks, you can wear a blue and white striped shirt with a white skirt. Roll up the sleeves and show off your American Flag watch. Contrast your shoes and let your manicure do the talking.

Denim shorts with American back pockets and that too studded are the perfect bold statement. Pair with a white tank, striped baseball cap and American Flag loafers.
